Hi Friend,

Since Hillary announced her candidacy for POTUS, the expression “When women run, women win” has been seen all over social media, on shirts, bumper stickers, and at the forefront of our hearts. For the last few years, we’ve been fighting to make this a reality.

When both Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren withdrew from the race last week, we saw our hope for a major win for womxn dwindle.

We started off with six women candidates. They pushed through the male-dominated media, the constant attacks and the belittling of genius policy. They did this because they collectively believe that our country can do better for all of us, and they know that the hardest journey is the journey to “first.”

When we finally do get our First Female President (capitalized on purpose), it will be after more hard-fought battles against institutional sexism, racism, ableism, and ageism. It will happen when more and more of us see through the current system. It will happen when more women and allies come together to uplift the right woman to lead us through what comes after.

This is why we are marching on, in the face of more disappointment, because we know that this fight to “first” is so important, and disappointments are inevitable.

Please join us in thanking the women who stepped into the fray of politics in 2020 for being leaders in this battle and for being part of the #MatriarchyRising.

We will keep fighting for representation and inclusion. We’ll MARCH ON and do the work. Together.
