As Virginia’s only two U.S. senators, Tim Kaine and I have a close friendship—and a friendly rivalry. I like to keep tabs on his news coverage to make sure he’s not hogging the headlines with his harmonica concerts and overwhelming enthusiasm for life…but one recent story has me worried:

Morning Consult recently called Kaine “vulnerable” in his upcoming reelection fight.

I’ve worked hand in hand with Tim for nearly 15 years in both the Senate and as Governor. We’ve strived to represent all Virginians regardless of where you live or your political affiliation. That’s why most of the news about Tim Kaine is about his work supporting military families, bipartisan bills that move us forward by finding common ground, and tireless efforts to make the federal government work for Virginians.

We need people like Tim in the Senate. So please, join me in supporting Senator Kaine’s re-election campaign.
