That’s why in the House, I introduced legislation with Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Donald Norcross to protect striking workers’ wages and benefits.
People fighting for better working conditions on the picket lines should not have to sacrifice their paychecks or their health insurance.
As we’ve seen in the past few months, when unions stand up for good-paying jobs — writers, actors, and autoworkers — we all win.
Our legislation protects workers, plain and simple. And I’ll always fight alongside the labor movement for fair wages, good benefits, and dignity for all.
