Hi John,

During National Family Caregiver’s Month, we’ve accomplished so much in such a short time here at Caring Across.

With your help, we took our work to the next level and successfully laid an incredible foundation in making caregiving more visible.

We partnered with major media outlets, celebrity caregivers, influential Hollywood creatives, prominent artists, influencers, and titans in the care space to shape the way our country thinks about care.

Here’s just a quick look at what we’ve done to transform the way people across the country think about care:

* Organized CareFest, a 2-day 500-person event that focused on the future of care and featured many cultural influencers, creators, corporate partners, policymakers, researchers, philanthropists, and care advocates.
* Worked with Hollywood writers and producers to increase the diversity and authenticity of care representation on the big screen – so more stories of real caregivers are being told!
* Worked with 5 prominent artists to create the "When We Grow Older” art installation that celebrated the cultural diversity of intergenerational care in California.
* Started a Business Care Council to help influence the way employers care for their employees across the country.
* Recognized the way care influencers bring care into our mainstream culture by creating the Care Catalyst Award and awarding it to 4 incredible caregivers and care recipients.
* In partnership with the inspiring Misty Copeland, we held special screenings for the short film "Flower," to highlight intergenerational equity and the intersectionality of care issues.
* Worked with our Creative Care Council – joined by celebrity champions of care like Seth Rogen, Lauren Miller Rogen, Brandee Evans, Bradley Cooper, Megan Thee Stallion, Richard Lui, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Yves Mathieu East – to spread the word about care.

Together, we successfully shaped a new conversation about care. Now, we’re ready to do even more to lift care into the spotlight and pave the way for big change to our care systems.

Your commitment to the care movement is what allows us to keep the momentum going.

Excited for more to come!
