We spent the last couple days raising money for a good man, Eugene Vindman, to help him get his campaign off to a strong start.

Thousands of VoteVets supporters chipped in. It really helped.

But now we’ve got to get back to refilling our own war chest. We spent down our reserves pretty considerably over the last several months.

We spent several hundred thousand dollars running ads online and on TV pressuring Tuberville and the GOP to get our officers the promotions they’ve earned. There’s still resistance there, but we’ve made a ton of progress. We will finish that fight.

We also spent a few hundred thousand dollars in Virginia, supporting candidates directly and funding advertising that helped flip the House and hold the Senate. We had big wins there earlier this month. That’s worth celebrating.

But now, we’re turning our attention to 2024. Trump is openly embracing the same language and tactics used by fascists ahead of World War Two — guys like Mussolini and Hitler. He’s plotting to rip out 50,000 career public servants and replace them with MAGA loyalists. He’s made no secret that he’ll weaponize the Department of Justice and the Military against protestors and political opponents.
