Statehouse News
From the Office of Representative Allison Russo

A Note from Representative Russo

In this month's newsletter, you can learn about my work at the Statehouse, keep up on my legislative agenda, and read an issue spotlight on valiant women of the vote.

March is here at the Statehouse and so is the beginning of spring! We are continuing to work hard on a solution to the EdChoice Voucher issue, and I encourage constituents to call, write, and email members of the House and Senate leadership to express yourself on this very important issue. A legislative fix must be passed by the April 1st deadline to prevent taking away resources from our local public school districts. I also introduced two new bills this past month: HB 497, or the “Safe Drinking Water Act”, and HB 518, which will remove the cap on damages awarded in certain tort cases involving survivors of criminal and sexual assault. These are important pieces of legislation that will allow Ohioans to continue leading healthy, safe, and secure lives.

In the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or thoughts!
