When you speak truth to power, power fights back.
Ayanna has joined her colleagues in Congress in calling for a ceasefire to save civilian lives in Gaza — and to facilitate the safe return of hostages, the evacuation of Americans, and the delivery of humanitarian aid in the region.
So it’s no surprise that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee — a conservative PAC funded by Republican mega-donors — has indicated their plans to target Ayanna and other members of the Squad, preparing to spend more than $100 million to unseat each member. They’re reportedly recruiting primary challengers right now to take on Ayanna.

During the 2022 midterm elections, AIPAC was one of the largest outside spenders in Democratic primaries — spending more than $30 million — trying to unseat progressive incumbents through expensive advertising campaigns. With the 2024 elections coming up and the horrifying war happening in Gaza, that number is expected to multiply.
We believe that our movement’s strength is greater than their power and influence. But we do need to be prepared to compete against their millions of dollars of outside spending. Ayanna doesn’t have a PAC that can spend millions of dollars at the drop of a hat — our campaign is powered by small-dollar donations that come from supporters like you, responding to emails just like the one you’re reading now.
We need to respond to these reports with a strong surge of small-dollar, grassroots support for Ayanna. We need to send a message that Ayanna is not afraid to speak truth to power, and there are thousands of grassroots supporters like you in this fight by her side.
Thank you for all that you do to support Ayanna,
The A-Team
