* *Routes 21, 56, 57, 125, RapidRide C & H Lines* will have stop #481 3rd Avenue & Columbia Street (Southbound) closed from Saturday, November 11 through Saturday, November 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day due to construction;
* *Routes 10, 11 and 49* will be rerouted and will not serve the stop at Pike Street & Boren Avenue from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19, due to construction;
* *Routes 43 and 48* to University District will be affected during the closure of Montlake Boulevard E from Friday, November 17 at 10:00 p.m. to Monday, November 20 at 5:00 a.m. due to construction;
* *Routes 226, 240, 249* *and 271* will be rerouted off a portion of 108th Avenue NE on Saturday, November 18 at 4:30 a.m. to Sunday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. due to construction;
* *Routes 241 and 245* will have eleven bus stops closed on SE 36th Street and 142nd Place SE from Friday, November 17 to Sunday, November 19 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly due to construction;
* *Routes 255, 271 and ST 542 and ST 454* will be rerouted in both directions off of the SR 520 bridge from Friday, November 17 at 10:00 p.m. through Sunday, November 19 due to construction;

King County Metro?Facilities Division Employee of the Year Edwin Cendejas can explain how a corner-grounded delta works in a transformer. He can show you how to replace lighting in a bus shelter or talk cooking?he?ll let you know the best seasoning around. He is also one of the most easygoing, friendly guys you could meet on the job.
?Metro?s incredible workforce?goes beyond our operators and vehicle maintenance crews,? said King County Executive Dow Constantine. ?It?s also the people who keep the county?s many facilities clean, shining and in good working order for the public who depend on us every day. Ed Cendejas embodies the best of Metro Facilities employees, and I?m so pleased to honor him.?
Cendejas, an electrician,?started with Metro in April 2022. He came to King County when staffing was low and the workload was high. He brought with him a hard-working attitude following his previous employment in private industry. His colleagues say he adapted fast and willingly to the demands of Facilities, which among other challenges, maintains and cleans 8,000 bus stops throughout King County as well as all Metro bases and administrative offices.

Water Taxi Heroes of the Deep provide a financial ?wave? to school

Captain Dan Krehbiel and Deckhands Nick Williams and Cory Bantam have received local (Times [ [link removed] ]/KUOW [ [link removed] ]/KING [ [link removed] ]/KOMO [ [link removed] ]/FOX 13 [ [link removed] ]) praise and national recognition from?coast [ [link removed] ]?to?coast [ [link removed] ]?for their actions on using the Water Taxi Doc Maynard to push an unmoored cargo barge away from the Seattle waterfront Nov. 2. Their actions are having a ripple effect across Elliott Bay and washing ashore to benefit a Highline Public School.
The captain and crew of the MV Doc Maynard were the guest of the Seattle Kraken during their game with the Colorado Avalanche. The Kraken Unity Fund recognizes ?inspiring individuals who are doing outstanding work to transform lives, enable resiliency, and uplift and unite our community across the Pacific Northwest? as a Kraken?Hero of the Deep [ [link removed] ].
