As we send this message, former Chicago Alderman Ed Burke is on trial on multiple counts of racketeering. Another case of Chicago Democrats coming under indictment in a long, long line of corruption and abuse of public trust.
The people of Chicago deserve better than leaders like this who cannot help themselves but use their offices to enrich themselves. Our party works across the state at all levels of municipal government to elect Republicans of integrity who will uphold the Constitution and their oaths of office.
