In a recent city council meeting on our budget – a marathon three hours – Mary Nan Huffman's contribution? Just three minutes of talk, and none of it about our district’s priorities.

That's not representation; that's neglect.

Our streets are crumbling, crime rates are up, and our community's needs are being ignored. In these critical times, leadership, availability, and accountability are more important than ever.

But where has Mary Nan Huffman been? Not fighting for us, that's for sure. We deserve better than a council member who's silent when it counts.

Whether it’s refusing to speak on our behalf when the city budget is being decided or consistently ducking events where voters might be able to question her decision-making, we know we can’t count on Mary Nan to show up for us.

Throughout this campaign, she skipped key community events like the Eagles Trace forum and refused to participate in candidate forums. Why the reluctance to engage in open dialogue? It’s not hard to guess.

This isn’t just about her absence in community forums or her preference for fundraisers with pro-Defund The Police radicals on city council over public engagement. It's about her lack of action where it matters most – on the council, advocating for our district.

Here’s my promise to you: I'm not just running to win an election; I'm running to be your voice in City Hall. A voice that's loud, clear, and relentless in fighting for District G. We need action, not absence. We need a leader, not a placeholder.

Let's bring the change we need. Let's make our voices heard.
