Adam Schiff for Senate

John,

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is petty. Vindictive. Thin-skinned. Insecure. But more than anything else, he’s dangerous.

In a sitdown interview on Univision, Trump said that he and his advisors are planning how they will weaponize the Department of Justice and the FBI to go after his enemies.

This is dangerous, and if we don’t build the resources to take him on now, our democracy will be at grave risk in the next election. John, chip in $3 if you can to help me hold Trump accountable and win this crucial U.S. Senate race:

Trump is categorically unable to handle criticism or accountability. He resorts to insults and attacks like a child throwing a tantrum.

Like when he disgracefully insulted the late Senator John McCain’s military service, saying “he was not a war hero.”

Or calling Speaker Nancy Pelosi “an animal” the day after a deranged man attacked her husband in their home.

Or most recently, when he called his political opposition “vermin,” invoking the dehumanizing language of dictators like Hitler and Mussolini.

These attacks are really dangerous, especially coming from a man who occupied the White House for four years — and who is seeking another term as president.

And this is just the beginning of how far Donald Trump is willing to go to attack his enemies:

“Trump says he could use FBI, DOJ against his enemies”
— The Washington Post

Read that again, John:

Donald Trump — who is polling 50 points ahead of his GOP opponents for the Republican presidential ticket — is plotting to use and abuse the office of the President of the United States to attack the people who hold him to account.

That’s why we have to take these allegations seriously. When a wannabe dictator reveals what he plans to do to weaponize his seat of power for his own gain, believe him.

I’m running for the Senate to build an economy that works for everyone, to solve the climate crisis, and to continue defending our democracy from the likes of Donald Trump and his MAGA enablers.

Please, chip in $3 or any amount you can spare to help me respond to Trump’s latest threats and to make sure we have the resources to win this Senate race. Many of the most important fights for our democracy will be waged in the U.S. Senate in the years to come. I intend to be there, on the frontlines like I always have, fighting and getting results for you.

Donald Trump is dangerous — and we cannot let him use the office of the President for his own gain.

I’m personally counting on your support to help stand strong against this demagogue who is seeking to abuse the powers of the presidency once again. Let’s make sure he never gets that chance.

— Adam
