Security screening at OAH begins Monday

State-of-the-art security screening will begin at OAH on Monday, November 20. 

What's changing

All visitors entering our St. Paul courtrooms will first pass through a security screener. Our new screener, Evolv Express, is the same system that Target Field and Mayo Clinic use.

Our screening technology allows you to walk through security without removing items from your pockets or having each bag manually inspected. The enhanced technology provides top-notch security without creating backups.

What you need to do

• Arrive 5 minutes early for your proceeding.
• If you have a laptop with you, remove it from your bag before entering the screening area.
• As you enter the screening area, keep walking at a normal pace with all of your belongings in your pockets, holding any items you are bringing to court. 
• Do not stop unless advised by OAH's security staff.
• OAH's security staff will manually inspect your belongings only if the screener detects a potential threat.
