Hi friend,
Last Tuesday, the voters of Phoenix made their voices heard and delivered some great wins for our city!
On the ballot were four general obligation bonds, or ‘GO bonds,’ that will provide nearly half a billion dollars in critical funding for a variety of public services and investments throughout our city.
All four GO bonds passed!
Mayor Kate Gallego was instrumental in designing these bonds and strongly supported their passage. Here’s what they mean for Phoenix:
- Shorter 911 response times
- Refurbished and new affordable housing units and senior centers
- Better protection for residents from flooding and extreme heat
- Repairs to aging infrastructure
- Enhancements for our parks, libraries, and playgrounds
These are just a few of the highlights of how these investments will improve Phoenix without raising tax rates.
Mayor Kate is working to build a Phoenix that is stronger, smarter, safer and greener. Thanks to the voters of Phoenix, we’re headed in the right direction. We’re ready to keep up the work. Are you with us? [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Team Kate
