The last Capitol Club of the year is going to be amazing.
Guests on November 30th at Maggiano’s will hear from Ryan Graham, President of Monument Academy, and Monument Academy’s attorney Brad Miller.
MA is paving the way for Colorado school transgender policy by pushing back on the State of Colorado and its unconstitutional laws.
In fact, MA is already being threatened with a lawsuit from the ACLU. https://gazette.com/opinion/column-school-exercising-first-amendment-rights-threatened-by-aclu/article_1aaacb04-61fb-11ee-8554-0f7547e5c19f.amp.html
Ryan & Brad could see their case go all the way to SCOTUS. We can hope. Read more about the policy here: https://coloradotimesrecorder.com/2023/06/monument-academy-adopts-transgender-resolution/54505/
If you want to hear more about what they’re doing at Monument Academy, get your tickets soon. This will be a packed event.
We need MORE Colorado school districts to get behind MA and stand up for our kids. If you are an educator, school board member, or your local board leans conservative, please consider attending and helping to PASS this resolution in your district (I will help you do this). Change doesn’t happen by saying “the democrats are in the majority, and we need to follow their laws.” Change comes from doing everything we can to push back on the progressive agenda.
We also have State Rep Don Wilson speaking that day, and Don has some great bills he will be introducing during the next session. Rep Wilson was also instrumental in founding Monument Academy, and he remains an active supporter who was present for the groundbreaking Board meeting where this resolution was passed.
It’s going to be a great lunch with this group, and you should not miss out.
