[[link removed]]The snowy forest floor is painted red. A mama wolf lies lifeless and limp. Her body has been shredded by the bullets
of a trophy hunter. Her babies wait patiently in the den for a dinner that will
never come. Without mom, they could starve or freeze to death. Even worse, they may end up
staring down the barrel of a gun themselves. Wolf pups shouldn’t have to fight for their lives when they’ve barely begun.

stand up for vulnerable wildlife and our planet!

Hunting season is already in full swing. And the coming winter could be
dangerous for our nation’s surviving wolf packs. Only 6,000 wolves remain in the lower 48 states. They can’t afford another brutal hunting season.

But the odds are stacked against wolves. Hunters are pushing to dismantle
protections for wolves so they can keep killing for “fun”. And to make matters
worse, they have some help. Big Polluters are in the fight against protections
for wolves, too. With wolves out of the way, they’d be able to take over the
land for mining and logging. Together, these greedy interests could drive wolves to extinction.

But I have good news. It’s not too late to strengthen vital protections for
wolves and other vulnerable wildlife. Thanks to members like you, we still have
the chance to make real change happen. But we need your help to act now before
the loss is too great! Will you join us in this fight?

[[link removed]]Every wolf death is devastating. But the scariest part is the way hunters are
killing wolves. They’re using some of the most brutal hunting methods we’ve
seen.

Because for trophy hunters, it isn’t enough to simply kill a wolf. Hunters
killing for sport needlessly terrorize these helpless animals. They resort to painful neck snares, leaving wolves to choke to death in futile attempts to escape. They chase them down with helicopters. In some states, it’s even legal to DYNAMITE nursing wolf mamas and their baby pups inside their dens!

No animal deserves this fate, Friend. But if we don’t act
soon, it could get even easier for hunters to viciously torture and kill wolves
in droves. That’s because Big Polluters are using their massive influence to
help trophy hunters strip away the last few protections wolves still have. If they get their way, they could wipe out wolves. All so they can take over their lands and open them up for destructive mining
and logging. That would also destroy any possibility of wolves being able to recover in the
future.

Trophy hunters and Big Polluters have shown time and again that they care more
about lining their pockets than the lives of wolves and survival of our planet.
But Friend, is private profit really worth all of this
bloodshed and destruction?

Our wildlife should come before corporate profit. Rush your $27 donation now
before wolves and vulnerable wildlife are driven to extinction and it’s too late
for our planet.

[[link removed]]Here’s what we’re up against: Powerful trophy hunting and Big Oil lobbies are
fighting tooth and nail against protections for wolves. Now, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is ignoring science-backed wolf
recovery practices. That means struggling wolf populations are being abandoned in pro-hunting
states like Montana.

And losing wolves would have serious impacts on our planet. Wolves are a
keystone species. They help balance out their ecosystems by keeping prey
populations in check. Not to mention, scavengers rely on their kills to sustain
them. Without wolves, other plant and animal species could suffer.

With hunting season in full swing, it’s never been more important to stand up
for wolves. Friends of the Earth is fighting with everything we have to strengthen the
Endangered Species Act. A vital piece of legislation, the ESA allows us to
shield endangered species from violence. Even more, it gives us the power to
block destructive industries like Big Oil, logging, and factory farming from
destroying critical habitats for profit and polluting the communities that rely
on them. That’s why we’ve collected thousands of comments from supporters just
like you -- urging our elected leaders to put an end to these vicious attacks
against the ESA.

Your membership gift will go a long way to further support our planet-saving
work. But we’re up against some powerful foes. Private trophy-hunting interests
and Big Polluters have seemingly bottomless resources to get their way. That’s
why I’m asking for your help today. We are falling $2,011 short of our goal. But
if just 8 more activists from your area make a $27 membership
contribution today, we can reach our $4,400 goal and make real change for
wildlife and the planet. Will you stand with us today?

Wolves, vulnerable species, and our planet are on the line. Donate $27 today and
help us hit our $4,400 goal by midnight tonight!
