This Week's Highlights

Monday

Judge Wendy Davis (IN-03) penned an op-ed about her commitment, if elected, to supporting our men and women in the military.

As a military spouse and mother, it is especially personal for her: "In Washington, I will fight to ensure that our military has the resources it needs to preserve our freedoms. It is the best fighting force in the world, and we must equip it to project strength.

Tuesday

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) joined hundreds of thousands of pro-Israel demonstrators on the National Mall this week, and delivered an impassioned speech about the importance of combatting antisemitism: "How anyone in America could sympathize with these terrorists is truly unfathomable. There should not be a shred of antisemitism in our country. Not now. Not ever."

Wednesday

Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) spoke out about President Biden's "agreement" on fentanyl trafficking, in which he agreed to lift sanctions on China's Institute of Forensic Science in exchange for empty promises on fentanyl.

The sanctions were originally imposed during the Trump administration over China's horrific treatment of the Uyghurs.

Thursday

Rep. Elise Stefanik (NY-21) kept the pressure on elite universities like Harvard that are enabling antisemitism on their campuses. Stefanik wants to prohibit the massive sums of taxpayer money and benefits that flow to these institutions every year.
