George Santos, who is currently facing a 23 count indictment, survived a recent vote to expel him from the House, with Republicans claiming they wanted to wait for an Ethics Committee report.
Well, guess what?! That report has been released, and it’s scathing, finding ‘substantial evidence’ of criminal wrongdoing.
George Santos’ conduct includes: misdirecting campaign funds for personal expenses like Botox, designer fashion, and lavish trips; lying about his personal wealth and work history; and personally involved in the illegal flow of campaign funds and cover-ups.
The U.S. House must act now to bring Santos’ expulsion to a vote. The American people deserve much more than representation by someone who prioritizes corruption, deception, and complete disregard for the rule of law.
