Yesterday marked one full year since the House passed H.R. 1, the For the People Act.

H.R. 1, the first bill passed by the New Democratic House majority, would enact sweeping campaign finance reform. It requires that SuperPACs and dark money groups disclose their donors, strengthens rules for political ads on social media, and increases oversight on campaign finance.

It’s been one year since this bill was passed, and it’s still sitting on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s desk collecting dust.
