Manatees are one of the most iconic and beloved sea creatures. These peaceful
marine species are STARVING TO DEATH due to excessive loss of a critical food source: seagrass. And it’s largely because Big Cruise corporations care more about their bottom
line than the survival of manatees, so they are carelessly (and sometimes
illegally) dumping TOXIC WASTE into the ocean that can DESTROY the sensitive
habitat and vital food supply of manatees. We MUST take urgent action now to save manatees and their marine habitats from

for oxygen. Seagrass also plays a critical role in our coastal communities by
storing almost a fifth of the world’s ocean carbon and keeping us safe from
worsening climate crisis impacts.

But when cruise ships dump toxic wastewater and churn up sand and contaminants that compromise water quality, they contribute to the unrecoverable destruction
of seagrass beds.

Without this important sea vegetation, manatees and our oceanic ecosystem are in GRAVE DANGER, so we must STOP corporate cruise pollution from destroying the seagrass that
