Social media companies have set a precedent by banning tobacco ads due to
health risk—yet astonishingly, it allows Big Oil’s ads despite these
fossil fuel giants causing climate breakdown.

Any company that allows fossil fuel advertising is not just failing in
leadership and moral responsibility but also worsening the climate crisis.
With crucial events like COP28 approaching, where global climate decisions
are made, we must act now to hold these companies accountable.
