This Week in Labor History
March 13, 2007: The Senate passes its version of the 9/11 bill which includes a provision granting TSOs collective bargaining rights. It is the first time since the agency’s inception that both houses of Congress have voted to give TSOs collective bargaining rights. The provision is later dropped after President Bush threatens to veto it.
