Friend,

Beating Mitch McConnell won’t be easy, but our game plan isn’t rocket science:

1. Reach Kentuckians with a powerful, hopeful message that, together, we can throw out a corrupt system and get our government to work for us;
2. Make sure Mitch can’t escape his atrocious record.

That plan is already in motion. Our latest TV ad is reaching Kentucky voters as I write this, and it’s not what you might expect. I’m telling the stories of people Mitch McConnell has ignored and left behind in his pursuit of power.

That’s how we win. Take a look at our latest TV ad—and, if you like the sound of this plan, chip in to help us share our message:

This effort is personal for me, and not just because I’m one of the many Kentuckians who Mitch forgot about as soon as he got to Washington.

I meet people every day of this campaign who truly need a senator to fight for them. What they get from Mitch McConnell is radio silence—or a one-minute brush-off, if they’re lucky.

But we know this isn’t the case for everyone who tries to get help from Mitch. He’ll bend over backward for his lobbyist friends and special-interest allies. There’s a reason why the pharmaceutical industry has given more money to Mitch McConnell than any other senator, and it has something to do with the fact that Mitch is single-handedly blocking legislation that would reduce the cost of prescription drugs.

I don’t care if you’re a Democrat or a Republican. We all know that’s wrong. And we all know Kentucky needs that to change.

That’s the message I need your help getting to voters. Will you chip in?

Thank you,

Amy
