John:
The Supreme Court has heard oral arguments in the first major gun related case of its new session, United States v. Rahimi, that could allow individuals accused of domestic violence to possess firearms.
If the Court decides to rule in favor of Rahimi they will be opening up the flood gates to more rollbacks on important gun safety legislation and increase the violent epidemic we're seeing in this country.
Prohibiting domestic abusers from accessing firearms is common-sense, life-saving, and constitutional. This law works – it has served as a critical safety net for those who may not see justice through the criminal justice system.
