Working Families Party

This is bad, John.

Yesterday, reports emerged that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is prepared to spend over $100 MILLION to oust Working Families Party champions from Congress in 2024.

Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and Summer Lee — all Black and brown members of Congress who courageously called for a ceasefire and condemned Israel’s indiscriminate attacks on Gaza — are among the incumbent members of Congress in their sights.

Will you rush a contribution of $10 or any amount to help us build the grassroots effort necessary to defend our champions in Congress and defeat the right-wing forces trying to protect their interests and buy our elections?

Let’s be real, John — if these reports are accurate, we’re in downright unprecedented territory.

In the 2022 election cycle, AIPAC spent nearly $30 million trying to defeat progressives, and pundits everywhere thought that was an avalanche of money.

This year, they may spend up to $100 million just to defeat progressives in Congress — which is roughly four times what they spent in the midterms.

It’s not only the issue of foreign policy that will get yanked to the right if AIPAC wins — it’s everything. From advancing workers’ rights to implementing ambitious climate action to making real investments in social infrastructure, our entire working families agenda is at risk.

And every dollar that the GOP megadonors who fund AIPAC spend to try and defeat progressives in primaries also helps MAGA Republicans in their quest to capture the White House and full control of Congress for extremists.

But here’s the silver lining: if what AIPAC is lobbying for is truly popular in districts like these, then they wouldn’t need to spend one hundred million dollars to win.

WFP champions in Congress have won election after election because they fight for the people they represent — and represent the views of their constituents, majorities of whom are also calling for a ceasefire.

Together, we defeated these forces in 2020 and 2022, and with your support, we can do it again in 2024. Help us fight back and make sure we can keep all of our champions in Congress by making a contribution of $10 or any amount today.

Thanks for giving what you can today,

Working Families Party
