Michael Moore is only requesting funds from individuals and Federal PACs up to $3,300 per election and is not requesting funds from corporations or labor unions. John, I'm reaching out with a personal message today. I'm proud to endorse my friend, John Tecklenburg, for Mayor of Charleston.
Look, I've always said that it was my mission to ensure that Charleston didn't forget its historic past – and I'm confident that John is the best fit to continue to protect its future. As founding president of the International African American Museum here in Charleston, I got a chance to work with John Tecklenburg closely. He was there for us when we needed him and was a steadfast supporter of our mission. Charleston has made leaps and bounds under Mayor Tecklenburg's leadership, and I have no doubt that he'll continue to serve the Holy City well. Ahead of next week's runoff election, I hope you'll join me in supporting Mayor John Tecklenburg for reelection here in Charleston.
