This quick lesson examines the Thanksgiving Proclamations given by George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin Roosevelt. A graphic organizer is provided to help your students compare and contrast the proclamations and help you facilitate a meaningful discussion of how we commemorate the first Thanksgiving to this day.
