Hi,

A lot has happened in the last few days, so let me catch you up.

First, there were some big elections on Tuesday in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Our movement won BIG, securing the right to abortion in Ohio by making it a part of the state's constitution, electing a judge who values our fundamental rights to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and winning control of both chambers of the Virginia General Assembly.

Then, there was another disastrous GOP presidential debate last night, with desperate Republicans racing to the bottom in an attempt to out-extreme each other on abortion.

It's clear that Republicans see Tuesday's defeat not as an irrefutable rebuke of their platform and extremism, but as a mandate to double down on their dirty tricks to lie to voters about their unpopular policies. That means we have our work cut out for us in the year ahead. We need to elect reproductive freedom champions up and down the ballot and be ready to fight back against anti-abortion extremists' attacks on our rights.
