In the first Democratic presidential candidates debate, âMedicare for Allâ was at the top of the list of supposedly free stuff that could never withstand fiscal scrutiny. Renowned health care policy expert Dr. Sally C. Pipes, president and CEO at the Pacific Research Institute ([link removed]) , explains exactly what Medicare for All will mean for physician shortages, taxes, and the abolition of private health insurance. People Donât Know What âMedicare For Allâ Means.
Democrats Want It That Way.
Medicare for ALL Next week, Democrats will convene their second round of presidential debates. As during last monthâs debate, health care is sure to be a focus.
The candidates have sharpened their differences on the issue in recent days. Frontrunner Joe Biden released his vision for health reform â a sort of Obamacare on steroids â last week. He went to great pains to emphasize that people would be able to keep their private insurance under his plan. âIf you like your health care plan, your employer-based plan, you can keep it,â he said.
