Dear EMET Webinar Viewers:
This is a personal request from EMET.
I trust that this message finds you well and safe. We appreciate your continued support and participation in EMET’s weekly webinars. These webinars provide access to some of the most authoritative thought leaders on the existential threats confronting Israel and the Jewish people. These issues, their historical perspectives, and thoughts on how these problems must be navigated and addressed are brought to you in the comfort of your home or office courtesy of EMET. As you know, these ongoing presentations and our daily in-person visits to CapitolHill – advocating for Israel and the Jewish people - are expensive undertakings. There is no other pro-Israel organization that duplicates the degree and in-depth work of EMET, especially on Capitol Hill.
EMET does not charge for our participation in our webinars, and we are not a membership organization. EMET relies on contributions from our viewers and supporters like you to sustain these activities. Without that support, our activities and operations cannot continue. EMET has only one fund-raising event annually– that is our Rays of Light in the Darkness awards dinner, during which we bestow Speaker of Truth awards to Members of Congress,Dignitaries and Righteous Muslims and Arabs who have displayed great courage and moral clarity in their defense of Israel and the Jewish people and in calling attention to the hypocrisy, disinformation and overt antisemitism of those attacking Israel and the Jewish people. In addition to our other operating costs, the Rays of Light in the Darkness awards dinner is an expensive undertaking but, as Jews, we feel it is our duty to show gratitude – Hakarat haTov – to our selfless friends and allies.
I urge you to attend the Rays of Light in the Darkness awards dinner on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in Washington, D.C. and request that you encourage others to do likewise. You can register for the event here:
