An election is approaching, John, and Rishi Sunak has made it clear whose side he’s on by cosying up to fossil fuel companies. 

His policy to expand oil and gas licences in the North Sea will only boost the profits of fossil fuel giants and their shareholders, but won’t do a thing to bring down our energy bills. [1] 

Politicians and their mates in the city have been saying pay rises are to blame for inflation when in reality, it’s runaway profiteering by climate criminals, like Shell and BP, that are pushing up living costs and fuelling climate breakdown.

So we teamed up with Swarm Dynamics to bring you HeadSpin!, a parody game show video, to expose how our greed-fuelled economy is rigged to serve the interests of polluting companies and the banks that fund them.

The climate and the cost of living crises are linked, John. The reason why energy bills are so high is due to our over reliance on fossil fuels - or ‘fossilflation’. [2]

Whilst energy producers' have been making record profits, people on low-incomes are going to be forced into the impossible choice between heating and eating again this winter.

Politicians and fossil fuel financiers spin lies about climate change and renewable energy, because they're worried their profit margins will take a hit. But we see the devastating impact of extreme weather events every day, and we’re fed up with corporate greed taking precedence over our wellbeing.
