Yesterday I shared an inspiring story about one of our clients, Maynor, becoming a U.S. citizen in September. And while citizenship is the ultimate protection and goal for our clients, it only encompasses part of our work.

Every day, we also celebrate:

• Those who now have permission to work and can support their children;
• Those who finally have green cards and can therefore travel to their home countries to hug grandparents and parents they couldn’t visit for decades; and
• Those who are now citizens and voted for the first time this fall.
