There were big wins for abortion and women’s rights across the country, but this fight is far from over. That’s why we’re writing, not only to thank you for your support over many years but to urge your immediate support for the major battles ahead in the pivotal 2024 elections.
We successfully mobilized young people on college campuses to win critical election victories in Ohio and Virginia, working in coalition with passionate advocates for women’s rights, including community activists, doctors, educators, civil rights and pro-democracy organizers, the LGBTQ+ community and many others.

In Virginia, pro-abortion rights candidates won control of both the state senate and house, shutting down Governor Glenn Youngkin and his efforts to rescind ratification of the ERA and ban abortion in Virginia. |

In Ohio, the Feminist Majority Foundation mobilized young voters on 13 college campuses by the thousands, a key constituency in this historic victory, to add an amendment to the Ohio state Constitution – permanently protecting access to abortion and other reproductive rights. - Mobilize a massive campus vote in key swing states in 2024 to elect the president and win the majority in the House and Senate.
- Pass state constitutional referenda to protect reproductive rights while defeating any anti-abortion measures that make it to the ballot in 2024. We expect ballot measures in as many as 7 states next year.
When we achieve these goals, we will finally be able to enshrine the Equal Rights Amendment in the U.S. Constitution as the 28th Amendment, providing lasting protection against sex discrimination.
