Most of us have found ourselves in the dark at some point in our lives. In such moments, two things stand out to me as especially welcoming: light and company. This is what Love146 aims to offer children impacted by trafficking and exploitation. 

There are dark situations that children should NEVER find themselves in. For the children we work with at Love146, the path of recovery is no easy road. Your gifts mean that a way can be cleared for that child, a path can be lit up for them to walk on, and they have the support and love they need for the journey.

Your support is not only responding to an emergency happening right now, but is also actively contributing to a safer and brighter future.

Love is lighting that path. You can stand with children in some of the most vulnerable and difficult circumstances—and be a light in that dark place. Thank you for bringing hope to children affected by trafficking.

Here’s how your gift can light a path out of danger for a child:

Your donation is lighting a pathway of safety, helping children avoid exploitation. Supporting our Prevention Education helps children understand vulnerability, spot the signs of trafficking, identify healthy support systems, and learn the skills they need to stay safe.

Your donation is lighting a pathway of freedom, helping us respond to children who may be in danger. We meet with youth who are at risk of being trafficked or may be exploited. We listen, provide resources, and help them realize if they've been victimized. They need to know how to find safety and support.

Your donation is lighting a pathway of justice, supporting children as they testify and participate in the cases against their traffickers. We are with them every step of the way as they fight to ensure this doesn't happen to other children.

Your donation is lighting a pathway of recovery, providing food, healthcare, and education to survivors. In the US, we advocate in school systems for youth and respond to an array of tangible needs, like buying groceries and paying rent for families of survivors. In the Philippines, our team of expert caregivers, nutritionists, tutors, and nurses ensures that every survivor in our care has everything they need to heal and focus on recovery.
