This is always the time of year for the flu virus, but now we have another virus in the mix. Please remember that as of today there are no known cases of Coronavirus in Palm Beach County. However, we want to be cautious and remind everyone of ways to mitigate the spread of any type of virus, including but not limited to the Coronavirus.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for AT LEAST 20 SECONDS, especially after using the restroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using regular household cleaning wipes or spray.
- Stay at home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and throw the tissue in the trash.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Your hand sanitizer should have at least 60% alcohol.
