I am writing with immense joy and a heart full of gratitude to share the wonderful news of Päivi Räsänen's triumph at the Helsinki Court of Appeals. 

Thankfully, Päivi Räsänen has been found NOT GUILTY of “hate speech” for her Bible tweet and publicly expressing her Christian convictions!

CitizenGO got behind Paivi from the very start of what was a lengthy trial process, every step of the way. Our team was present on the ground in Helsinki in every one of her trials. 

We've engaged volunteers and collected donations for her defense, launched social media campaigns, conducted interviews, placed newspaper ads, and brought her case to the heart of the UN to expose the injustice and censorship.

Our petitions gathered more than 550,000 signatures, spotlighting the global concern for religious freedom and free speech. Your support helped shift the tides in Paivi’s favor, contributing significantly to this joyous outcome.

We knew exactly what was at stake here - that this case would deliver a likely precedent for the future of freedom of speech and Christian rights.

I always recalled that today it was Paivi, but tomorrow it could be one of us, that is on trial for simply expressing our faith.

I myself, had the privilege of witnessing her last trial at the Court of Appeals in Helsinki in August, standing alongside a true warrior defending freedom of speech and religion for all of us.

On Tuesday, the Helsinki Court of Appeals unanimously dismissed all charges against Päivi Räsänen. This landmark decision vindicates Päivi for the second time.

It also presents a beacon of hope for us, Christians, who don't want our voices silenced for sharing our beliefs openly.

Päivi's battle, has been a journey marked by resilience and an unshakeable belief in the fundamental right to freedom of speech and religious freedom. 

Her refusal to relent in the face of adversity is a powerful reminder of the strength found in the Christian faith.
