We won’t sugarcoat it: for all of us, the past several months have been difficult.



As we watch Israel’s brutal, U.S.-backed genocide in Gaza unfold before our eyes, our hearts cry out for the men, women, and children of Palestine. It is horrible enough that the U.S. government has already chosen war over peace in Ukraine, across Africa, at the border, and in our communities while they pursue nothing but aggression towards the people of China, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, and so many others. Now, the U.S. watches once again as bombs made in our neighborhoods drop on millions more.



In Palestine and everywhere, one bomb dropped is one too many. One child forced into hunger is one too many. One innocent life lost is one too many. A couple of weeks ago we were part of the largest mass mobilization against war since 2003. We are trying our best to channel people’s rage into concrete and fearless anti-war organizing.



To do this — we have to fully fund our Palestine and national organizing positions in 2024.

We are launching a new campaign to try Israel at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the genocide against the Palestinian people. <[link removed]> In response to a call particularly on NGOs by ICC prosecutor Karim A. A. Khan KC, CODEPINK compiled objective evidence of Israel’s violations of international law into a letter along with a demand to investigate the apartheid state and its officials. Our supporters can submit this letter to the ICC through their OTPlink. These letters will not only serve to expose Israel’s crimes, but also serve as a testament to the global call to hold Israel accountable. Our team is working overtime to support actions for Palestine and train up organizers who are being pulled into the movement for justice and liberation by this moment.
