Those words begin the oath you take when you enlist in the U.S. Army. They are words that I continue to live every single day.
You see, I didn’t leave my service at the door when I retired my military uniform.
It’s something I’ve incorporated into everything I’ve done since – from my service as a police officer to representing my constituents in the Colorado State House.
Now, I want to renew my oath to America in Congress.
