First, after 22 days without a Speaker and four nominees, House Republicans finally elected their new leader, Mike Johnson.
Though my colleagues across the aisle pat themselves on the back for this “accomplishment,” the truth is no one should be celebrating.
When we were in the majority, House Democrats led two of the most productive sessions of Congress in recent history. Since the GOP has taken the gavel, though, they’ve shown they’re committed to prioritizing partisan politics and Constitutional chaos.
You and I are both ready to see a change of pace in D.C., and we can achieve that by reclaiming the House majority in 2024. But, I need your help.
