That's why I won't beg you to donate ahead of tonight's crucial mid-month deadline, but I will lay out the facts: My potential GOP opponent – Mitch McConnell's handpicked candidate – outraised me in the first week of his campaign launch. And shortly after, a shady billionaire poured $2 million into the race to help flip this seat red. McConnell and his allies flooded Nevada's last Senate race with over a staggering $55 million (only to come up less than a percentage point short of winning). And with TIME reporting that Nevada could deliver everything from the Senate to the White House to Republicans in 2024, we need all the support we can get if we're going to fend off their attacks. But our mid-month fundraising deadline is just hours away, and we're on track to fall short of our $20,000 goal.
