Hi John,

In our last survey, we checked in with you about your priorities and the issues you care about most. We've heard from hundreds of people, and many of the responses included a common theme:

Suffolk County is such a special place -- and we want to stay here. We want our children, and our children’s children, to have the option to build their lives here, too.

Reading through each response has provided insights that will guide my work as the representative for NY-01 in Congress. In Congress, I will always take the time to listen deeply, respond thoughtfully, and advocate for policies that ensure this place remains special.

One of my favorite memories from when my kids were growing up is taking them on summer drives across the North Fork, where we had one rule for our day: If anyone saw a place they wanted to stop, we would.

It could be a U-pick raspberry farm, a roasted corn stand, a yard sale, or anywhere else we wanted to pause while we spent the day together.
