In 2010, when I was first elected, Colorado was a true battleground state. Today, we have two Democratic senators, five Democratic Congresspeople, a Democratic governor, and a majority in the Colorado General Assembly.
That didn’t happen because of luck or coincidence. It happened because of the sustained, hard work of community organizers, and because of Coloradans who spoke up for their own best interest at the ballot box.
Every vote made a difference.
Next year, we have a chance to flip Colorado’s Third Congressional District blue and take back the House majority.
