Two years ago today, under President Biden and Vice President Harris’ leadership, Lauren and our team worked hard to pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act — and we couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished.

The historic, once-in-a-generation Bipartisan Infrastructure Law invested over $17 billion in Illinois, and the results have been outstanding for our district. 

Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, IL-14 has received millions of dollars to invest in:

✅ High-speed broadband
✅ Clean drinking water
✅ Roads, bridges, ports, public transit, and highways
✅ Clean energy
✅ Climate and extreme weather resilience
✅ Thousands of good-paying jobs for hardworking people

Lauren and Congressional Democrats have worked tirelessly to deliver for our communities, and you know what the best part is? This is only the beginning. 

When we reelect President Biden and Vice President Harris, defend the Senate, and retake the majority in the House, we can make bigger strides on the good work that we started — making health care more affordable, addressing climate change, reclaiming our reproductive freedom, saving moms’ lives, protecting our communities from gun violence, and so much more.
