We're proud to announce our second annual Global Partners Matching Gift campaign to propel Population Connection's newest program through 2024. Since 2016, we’ve partnered with small nonprofits worldwide to enhance their ability at the local level to expand access to family planning options and reproductive health care, to remove barriers to girls’ education, and to conserve local natural resources through an integrated “population, health, environment” (PHE) approach.
Last year, we expanded this incredible program to partner with nineteen organizations all over the world, thanks to donors and supporters like you! This year, a fellow generous supporter will again match your donation—and all donations!—to support our Global Partners, up to $250,000, through December 31st! PopEd's Winter Theme: Constructing Arguments |
With the adoption of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), classrooms from grades K-12 are teaching the Science and Engineering Practice (SEP) “Engaging in Argument from Evidence.” The Population Education team is supporting teachers with lesson plans, a webinar, and other tools and resources to make teaching these important skills easier. By providing teachers with such timely tools, PopEd can ensure that even more young people gain a deeper understanding of how population growth affects people and our natural world.

Meet one of our newest Global Partners, Seeds for a Future! Founded in 2007, this innovative organization works in rural Guatemalan communities to help families build better, healthier lives. They supply families with the information, mentoring, and start-up materials needed to grow sustainable gardens and raise small animals for protein. Their programs also include nutrition and family health education for mothers, infants, and children, micro-business mentoring, hygiene and sanitation education, and more.
