Dear John, Join us on Tuesday, April 7 for our upcoming Resident Services Professional Development Training, "Sustaining Ourselves at Work: Critical Elements of Self Care That Supports Community Engagement." This training is designed for Case Managers, Property Managers, and Residence Services staff. Affordable housing services staff are consistently called upon to multitask, juggle multiple challenges, and provide various perspectives in their jobs. This workshop will address the variety of components that assist us in self-care, the prevention of burn out, and identifying innovative and new ways to support community and team building. Concrete takeaways include the creation of a very simple self-care kit, sustainability plans, small and large group discussion of challenges and responses to the challenges of our work.
