John,
Our movement for a ceasefire is growing. This week alone:
-
Dozens of rabbis joined me in DC to support our Ceasefire Now Resolution.
-
Hundreds of Jewish peace advocates were arrested during mass actions for a ceasefire in Chicago and Oakland.
-
More than 500 officials in Biden’s administration sent the President a letter demanding a ceasefire.
-
Palestinians and human rights organizations sued President Biden for unconditionally supporting the Israeli government’s genocide, which has so far killed more than 11,000 Palestinian civilians in the past 5 weeks.
Every day without a ceasefire, hundreds more innocent Palestinians die—including premature babies whose life support systems are failing because Israel’s government continues to cut off power.
We can’t let President Biden and Congress send $14 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars to bomb more hospitals, ambulances, and schools.
We must keep up the momentum and pressure on our leaders to end the violence.
Will you join a march, rally, or sit-in near you during this Friday’s National Day of Action for Palestine?
Thank you for acting to defend life and our shared humanity.
In solidarity,
Rashida
