The Ed Fund’s most important fundraising event of the year is Giving Tuesday, less than two weeks away. And we’re getting started early.

For nearly three decades, EnviroVoters Ed Fund has worked to radically advance climate policy and legislation by promoting greater civic participation and educating the public and legislators.

We’ve played a key role in so many of California’s wins and been integral to California’s global climate leadership — from setting a bold agenda with our Policy Roadmap to building on-the-ground power with our youth Ambassadors program to organizing the Green California Lobby Day that helped lead to the passage of internationally-impactful climate legislation in Sacramento.

And we’ll be taking a group of legislators to the United Nations’ climate conference in December!

But we are a small nonprofit that relies on the support of members like you to power our efforts to solve the climate crisis, advance justice, and create a roadmap for global action.

On Giving Tuesday, millions of people worldwide join a global movement to financially power organizations seeking to improve their communities. The financial support generated during Giving Tuesday creates a critical foundation for our work going into the new year.

And the stakes have never been higher. We’re one year closer to the 2030 deadline scientists have given us to make the necessary investments to avoid climate catastrophe. 2024 is an election year, with the White House, Congress, and the California Legislature all up for grabs.

I know we can meet that 2030 deadline, because we have the solutions to solve the climate crisis — and we have this grassroots movement of climate champions like you behind us, friend.

Our movement is built upon a commitment that each and every one of us share to protect our planet from the devastating effects of the climate crisis. Our success depends on the actions our community takes, such as stepping forward with a financial commitment for Giving Tuesday this month.
