John —
Last week, we proved the pundits wrong again when progressives won big across the country.
But with 2024 on the horizon, we can’t let up, not even for a minute.
The 2024 cycle starts in earnest right now — and one of our highest priorities will be to take back the House from Republican control. And the path to retaking the House runs straight through New York state.
That’s why we’re joining a new coalition of labor unions, activist groups, and powerful organizations to target six vulnerable Republicans — including Reps. George Santos and Mike Lawler — who represent some of the best pick-up opportunities not just in New York, but nationwide.1
Together, we plan to make millions of calls and door-knocks in each district. But in order to win, we need to start laying the groundwork right now. Will you contribute $10 or whatever you can afford to help us flip these districts and take back the House from Republicans?

New York may not be the first state that comes to mind when one thinks of a typical battleground state. But in 2022, Republicans were able to flip the House in large part by taking advantage of newly drawn districts and under-resourced candidates across New York.
Since then, we’ve seen just how much damage Republicans can do when they are in control:
- They’ve held the country hostage with constant threats to shut down the government;
- Their constant infighting within their own caucus led to complete chaos and brought the House to a standstill for nearly a month;
- They chose as their new Speaker MAGA extremist and election denier Mike Johnson, who wants to pass a federal ban on abortion, called LGBTQ+ people "sinful" and "destructive," and played a central role in efforts to help Trump overturn the will of voters after the 2020 election.
The one thing we haven’t seen from the Republican Party is any willingness to govern or do anything to help working people. Yet despite their dysfunction, we know we have our work cut out for us.
If we’ve learned anything in the last two election cycles, it’s that early engagement with voters is crucial. Which is why we can’t delay — we need to get to work now to flip the House in 2024.
We need to start now to build a sophisticated get-out-the-vote effort in each battleground district in New York in order to defeat Republicans and take back the House for working people. Will you contribute $10
or whatever you can afford so we can hit the ground running today and win in 2024?
