# [#]The increasing severity and frequency of extreme weather events is a clear reminder that we are already seeing the impacts of climate change in our own backyard.

And from wildfires to drought, heat waves, and rising sea levels, communities like ours here in San Diego are particularly vulnerable.

A comprehensive national strategy to address the worsening climate crisis is key to protecting the health, safety, and livelihoods of our communities. That’s why Scott joined with his colleagues in the House to re-introduce bipartisan legislation aimed at streamlining the federal response to climate disasters.

Climate change isn’t going away, so we must ensure we have the resources and plans needed in this new reality. Climate resilience has never been more important. Add your name here if you agree: [[link removed]]SIGN ON [[link removed]]

Scott is working to aggressively combat the climate crisis, and we can’t do that without preparing for the inevitable damages and disasters of the coming decades.

By developing a national strategy to better coordinate between federal and local agencies, Scott’s bill fills in a key piece of the puzzle to protect vulnerable communities from the increasing threat of environmental devastation.

Let Scott know you support this work to build stronger and safer climate-resilient communities by adding your name right away: [[link removed]]SIGN ON [[link removed]]
