Since I was elected to Congress in 2018, helping my constituents here in Arizona has been my highest priority. I am pleased to share with you that since I took office, we have returned over $1,124,787 to residents of Arizona's 8th Congressional District by helping them obtain benefits from Veterans' Affairs, social security, medicare and others that they were entitled to, but had difficulty receiving.

Read Across America Day

I had a blast reading to students at Countryside Elementary in Surprise. I visited Mrs. Rogers' 2nd Grade class and Ms. Karlovich's 3rd Grade class to share a book with some bright students.

Casework Highlight

A single father who lives in Youngtown contacted us regarding a denied disability application on July 30, 2019. He was the victim of a series of botched surgeries which resulted in the lower part of his leg being amputated and ultimately resulted in the loss of his job. My office reached out to the Social Security Administration and walked the constituent through the hearing process. The hearing resulted in a favorable judgment, and the constituent received payment totaling $42,668.00.
