Jack, the far right hate group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) has been on a winning streak ever since Trump and McConnell stacked the federal courts with extremist judges. They have successfully overturned Roe v. Wade, blocked COVID-19 public health rules, established the right to refuse service based on identity, and more.

Now, ADF, armed with a $100 million war chest, is coming for birth control—telling the New Yorker that one day, Americans would “say the birth control pill is a mistake.”

In 2022, ADF won the repeal of Roe. In 2023, ADF's efforts led to the suspension of FDA approval for mifepristone, an adjunct medication for nearly 25 years to ease miscarriages and half of all abortions in America. Ending access to contraceptives is the next step in their assault against our fundamental freedoms.

And it won't stop there. Abolishing LGBTQ+ rights, repealing anti-discrimination policies, and ending separation of church and state are just a few of the issues on their nightmare agenda. Stopping them is critical to protecting our democracy.

The freedom to choose if, when, and how to build a family affects millions' health, economic stability, and freedom of choice. Rolling back access to birth control disproportionately impacts low-income families and communities of color, and undermines public health.
